This is the lower grille insert for the 2024-2026 S650 Mustang GT. It replaces the lower bumper opening with the Dark Horse mesh treatment, which is the change that does the most to tighten up the front end from straight on.
Read the fitment before you order. The lower bumper opening is shaped differently on GT cars than on EcoBoost cars, so this part fits GT and GT Premium only. If you have an EcoBoost, the upper insert will fit your car but this one will not.
Two finishes are offered. Matte black is the quieter option and reads closest to factory lower trim. Painted glossy black is the one that matches the Dark Horse look and the upper insert, so choose glossy if you are running both pieces together.
Moulded ABS plastic on factory mounting points. Same story as the upper piece – no cutting, no drilling, and the panel gaps stay factory.

Installation
Home-garage job with hand tools. The insert locates on the factory lower grille mounting points and reuses the original fasteners.
Dry-fit before committing. Check the gaps across the full width of the opening, make sure the mesh sits square to the bumper line, then seat the clips and tighten.
Budget about an hour. Professional installation is recommended if you would rather not pull factory fasteners on the lower bumper.
