Explorer ST Parts
102 parts for the 3.0L EcoBoost Explorer, the deepest Ford SUV catalogue we carry.
Shop by systemThe ST Is a Different Car From the Explorer.
The ST runs the 3.0L EcoBoost on the rear drive biased CD6 platform, with its own cooling, its own subframe and its own suspension geometry. A part listed for a 2.3L Explorer is usually wrong for an ST, and the ones that do cross over are the exception rather than the rule.
This page is the ST only, 2020 through 2026. The 2025 restyle changed the face of the car and not the CD6 platform underneath it, so a brace or a downpipe listed for a 2021 car is still the right part for a 2026 one. Charge pipes, downpipes, injectors and the whole suspension section are filed against the 3.0L car, which is why the counts here are as deep as they are.

The 3.0L Runs Out of Charge Pipe Before It Runs Out of Turbo.
The factory charge pipes are the known weak point on this engine, and they are the reason charge pipes are the single deepest category on this page. Boost leaks there cost you more than anything a tune can give back, so that is where a build starts.
Downpipes come next for the same reason they do on any twin turbo engine, and then the fuel system. The ST is direct injected, so the injectors and the high pressure pump are what set the ceiling once the air side is sorted. Suspension is worth doing at any point, because the ST is a tall car that responds unusually well to it.

Who Builds for the Explorer ST.
Know Your Explorer ST Inside and Out.
Does the 2025 restyle change what fits?
No. The 2025 and 2026 cars got a new front end and a new interior, but the CD6 platform, the 3.0L EcoBoost and the suspension pickup points carried over, which is why our suppliers list one part across 2020 to 2026. Body and lighting parts are the exception, and those are called out by year on the product itself.
Do Explorer ST parts fit a 2.3L Explorer?
Mostly no. The ST uses the 3.0L EcoBoost with its own cooling, charge air routing and exhaust, so anything on the air or fuel side is ST specific. Some suspension and a few interior parts cross over, and where they do the product itself says so.
What should I buy first?
Charge pipes. The factory pipes are the known failure point on this engine, and a boost leak there costs more than any tune will give back. It is also why charge pipes are the deepest single category on this page.
Is the Explorer ST worth tuning?
Yes, and it responds unusually well, but in order. A calibration on factory charge pipes and factory fuel is asking the weakest parts of the car to carry the extra load. Sort the air side, then the fuel side, then ask for more.
Does the ST need a downpipe and a tune together?
Yes. Changing the exhaust ahead of the turbos changes what the factory calibration expects. Fitting downpipes and leaving the stock tune gives away most of the gain and can set codes.
Will lowering it hurt the ride?
Not if the spring rate and the damper are matched. The ST carries a lot of weight high up, so the parts that transform it are the sway bars and the bushings as much as the springs. A handling kit does the whole job at once, which is why we list them as kits.
