The EcoBoost Answers to Airflow.
Both Ranger engines are turbocharged, which changes the order of operations compared with a naturally aspirated truck. Restriction on the hot side costs you more than anything you can bolt to the intake, so the downpipe is the first honest change and the one that makes every later part work harder.
After that the intercooler is the part that holds gains together on a hot day, and a catch can protects the intake valves on a direct injected engine. Cosmetics can wait. Airflow, cooling and calibration come first.

Which Ranger generation do I have?
A 2019 through 2023 truck is the fourth generation, built on the P375 platform with the 2.3L EcoBoost. A 2024 or newer truck is the fifth generation and shares almost nothing with it. The Ranger Raptor is its own truck again, with the 3.0L EcoBoost V6.
Will a 2019-2023 downpipe fit a 2024 Ranger?
No. The turbo location and the exhaust routing both changed with the fifth generation, so downpipes, cat-backs and most cooling parts are generation specific. Order from the generation category that matches your truck.
What should I buy first?
A catted downpipe. Both Ranger engines are turbocharged, so the restriction on the hot side is what limits the truck, and clearing it is what makes an intercooler or a calibration worth paying for later.
Does a downpipe need a tune?
Yes. Changing the exhaust ahead of the turbo changes what the factory calibration expects, and leaving the stock tune in place gives away most of the gain and can set codes.
Do Ranger Raptor parts fit a regular Ranger?
Mostly no. The Raptor uses the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 with its own suspension and its own bodywork, so exhaust, fuel and aero parts are separate. A few oil catch cans cover both, and those are listed under each truck.
