Where To Start

Fuel Before Power.

The 3.0L EcoBoost leaves the factory with the fuel system sized for the factory tune. That is the first ceiling you hit, and it is the reason a high pressure pump shows up early on this truck when it would be a late item on most others.

Once fuel is handled, the downpipe is what the turbochargers actually notice, and a cat-back finishes the job behind it. Carbon fiber and hood vents come last, because they change how the truck looks rather than what it does.

Not a Raptor? Still Covered.

The 2019-2023 and 2024-and-newer Rangers each get their own catalogue, because the turbo location, the exhaust routing and the tail light housings are all different trucks.

FAQs

Know Your Raptor Inside and Out.

Which engine does the Ranger Raptor use?

The 3.0L EcoBoost V6, which is exclusive to the Raptor. The rest of the Ranger range runs the 2.3L EcoBoost four cylinder, with a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 available on the newer truck, so exhaust and fuel parts do not carry over.

Will a regular Ranger downpipe fit my Raptor?

No. The V6 has two turbochargers and its own exhaust routing. Order from this category rather than from the four cylinder Ranger listings.

What should I buy first?

A high pressure fuel pump. The factory fuel system is sized for the factory calibration, so it becomes the ceiling before airflow does on this truck.

Do I need a tune with downpipes?

Yes. Changing the exhaust ahead of the turbochargers changes what the factory calibration expects, and leaving the stock tune in place gives away most of the gain.

Should I lower a Ranger Raptor?

We would not. The truck runs 2.5 inch FOX Live Valve internal bypass dampers that adjust continuously, and springs that fight that system cost you more than the stance is worth.

Does a catch can matter on this engine?

Yes. It is direct injected, so there is no port fuel washing the back of the intake valves, and a catch can is cheap insurance against carbon buildup.

Do you install?

Yes. We are a full shop in Thousand Oaks, California and we install everything we sell. Call 805-267-9762.
