Nissan S-Chassis
Silvia S15
The last of the S-chassis and JDM only. Mechanically it is the S14 grown up: the same blacktop SR20 family and effectively the same rear suspension. What actually separates the two is the bodywork, the exhaust and the interior.

Spec-R or Spec-S: it changes the driveline
Spec-R cars run the turbocharged SR20DET with a six-speed gearbox and a helical LSD. Spec-S cars run the naturally aspirated SR20DE with a five-speed. Both are blacktop SR20s, which puts the S15 much closer to the S14 than to the redtop S13. Rear suspension is effectively common with the S14. Body panels, exhaust and interior are S15 only.

Common questions
Fitment and series
Do S13 or S14 parts fit an S15?
S14 rear suspension largely is S15 rear suspension. The camber arms, toe arms, tie rod ends and subframe bushings carry the same part numbers, which is why several of those listings are filed under both cars. The S13 is the outlier: its SR20DET is the redtop, while the S14 and S15 both run blacktop engines with variable intake cam timing, so even a valve cover does not swap between them. Body panels, exhaust and interior are S15 only.
What is the difference between Spec-R and Spec-S?
Spec-R cars run the turbocharged SR20DET with a six-speed gearbox, a helical LSD and a stiffer chassis setup. Spec-S cars run the naturally aspirated SR20DE with a five-speed. It changes which engine and drivetrain parts apply. Suspension and body parts fit either.
Was the S15 sold in the United States?
No. The S15 was a JDM car, so US cars are imports. That is why it is listed separately from the 240SX rather than folded in with it.
What do you stock for the S15?
Coilovers, adjustable rear upper camber arms, toe arms, tie rod ends and subframe bushings, titanium exhaust systems, carbon hoods and engine hardware.
Will S15 parts fit my 240SX?
For an S14, usually yes on rear suspension, because many of those arms are one part number across both cars. For an S13, treat it as a different car: its own rear geometry and a redtop SR20 rather than a blacktop. Body, exhaust and interior never cross over. The S13 and S14 have their own sections here.
Can you confirm fitment before I order?
Yes. Tell us whether the car is a Spec-R or a Spec-S and the year, and we will confirm what fits. We install what we sell at our shop in Thousand Oaks, California.
Not sure whether yours is a Spec-R or a Spec-S?
Send us the year and VIN plate and we will confirm what fits.
