Vehicle Preparation
At a minimum, you need a larger intercooler to make sure your charge temps stay as low as possible. We recommend a UPR Dual Valve Catch Can.We recommend contacting your tuner to provide you with a custom tune that reduces power to reduce your heat output.
- We recommend you bring a 2020+ certified helmet, we will have loaner helmets on-site if needed.
- New tires
- New brakes
- Coolant
- Seat bolted down
- Torque lug nuts
- Full tank of gas (there is a gas station 3 miles away in case you run out of gas)
Please make sure you’re running brand new brake pads. This is one of the most common mistakes people make going to a track day. Check your rotor thickness and replace if necessary.Make sure to swap your brake fluid for Motul RBF 660 or any high temp racing brake fluid. We do not want your brake fluid to boil as you will have brake failure.
We recommend running at minimum a 300 treadwear tire. To be technical, treadwear isn’t important to look at but for general purposes, we do recommend anything lower than a 300. Brands include Michelin, Goodyear, Toyo, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Firestone, and Yokohama. If you have the driver skill, feel free to bring a set of R comps. Please do not attend this event with old tires, the track surface is not suited for older, heat-cycled tires and you will be fighting for grip the entire time.We will help you with tire pressures on the day of the event.
We recommend adding at least -2 degrees of camber to the front of your suspension. We do not want you to eat outer tires causing the tire to delaminate and ultimately end your day.Optional, you can add a total of -2 degrees to the rear as well.
