SR Performance 2015-2020 Ford Mustang (EcoBoost, V6, GT w/o Magneride) Sport Lowering Springs

Performance Handling. SR Performance’s Sport Lowering Springs are an excellent way to improve the handling performance of your S550 Ford Mustang. These Sport Springs will lower your Mustang’s center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. SR Performance Sport Springs are perfectly suited for daily driving, street, and occasional track applications.

Aggressive Muscle Car Stance. Not only does a set of SR Performance Sport Springs improve the handling performance of your Ford Mustang, but they also improve its overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.2-inches front and 1.0-inches (Fastback) or 1.2-inches (Convertible) rear eliminating that huge tire to fender gap, for a more aggressive street stance.

Progressive and Linear Spring Rates. SR Performance designed their Sport Lowering Spring kit with progressive springs up front and linear springs in the rear. Progressive springs (also known as variable rate springs) provide a smooth ride with good handling characteristics when pushed hard. While linear springs have a constant spring rate allowing for optimum traction at low and high speeds.

Professional Installation Recommended. Seeing that a spring compressor is required for installation of these Coil Springs, we recommend professional installation. With the proper tools, installation can be completed in about three hours. Please note that an alignment is highly recommended after installation.

Application. This set of four SR Performance Sport Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on 2015-2020 coupe and convertible Mustangs equipped with independent rear suspension (IRS), including the V6, EcoBoost and GT models. Does not fit Shelby GT350 models.

Technical Note. These Springs are not compatible on vehicles equipped with the MagneRide Suspension System.
