The Engineered Motorsport Solutions Budget Build short block will have the following components:

• A new OEM TS or 2.3 engine block, your choice
• Budget Block Specs are rated for 550 whp
• A new OEM crankshaft
• MAHLE standard-compression pistons
• Callies H-Beam rods
• King main and rod bearings
• Balance shaft delete
• OEM Oil Squirters

*While ordered separately, we only recommend OEM head gaskets for our short blocks and ca625+ head studs*

**Short block shipping is NOT included in the price. Shipping option are listed in drop-downs above (limited to the continental US.) Restrictions may apply based on residential area and shipper limitations. An EMS representative will reach out if these restrictions apply to your purchase.**

All engines ship through South East Freight Lines (SEFL) and may change carriers once they are out of the South East US. Freight tracking is unavailable, but you will be provided shipping estimates from EMS just before the engine shipping. Also, it is not guaranteed, but the freight carriers should call before arrival to confirm delivery times. If there is any damage to the engine crate or its contents upon arrival at its destination, please refuse the shipment, do not sign the receipt, take pictures, then email EMS at sales@emsinc-tn.com. Failure to do so may result in the engine being unable to be covered by our EMS 1-Year Warranty.

If the shipping cost exceeds the allotted amount for your order, EMS will reach out with the details. Shipping differences can be paid through the button on the top of the EMS website labeled “Shipping/Contingency Charge.

Even though they are just four-cylinder engines, they are more complex than one may think.
