If you’re craving more power from your 2020+ Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, Whipple has the answer. Get the industry’s latest, most efficient twin-screw supercharger available today. The new Whipple 3.8L Gen5 can produce incredible power levels well into the 2000+HP range in race applications. The revolutionary new 3.8L Gen5 supercharger features the all-new 3/4 asymmetrical rotor design and new housing for incredible power gains. The all-new system comes with a massive 132mm roval throttle body and an all-new 145mm cold air intake system, allowing for massive power levels.
The new Whipple system features an all-new patented dual core, dual pass intercooler design that has over twice the volume of the stock, undersized intercooler core. The dual-core system features a dual inlet, and dual outlet to further increase cooling capacity vs the stock single inlet/outlet intercooler.
Each Whipple system comes with new motor mount brackets to fit under the stock hood, billet idler plate and idler pulleys, intercooler vent system, SC belt, and all the necessary hardware for an easy installation.

Gen 5 Benefits
The new, direct, and port-injected supercharger system features the brand new Generation 5 3.8L front feed twin-screw supercharger. Not to be confused with the Gen 3 or 4, this all-new supercharger features industry-leading efficiency from idle to redline. All new bearings, gears, rotors, and housing allow the new supercharger to spin faster, longer, and safer while producing more power than any other positive displacement supercharger ever built. The 3.8L will also feature a new inlet design that is 2 pieces, allowing easier access for the rear bolts, your spark plugs, and other items that previous models made difficult to access.
