Product Overview
- Carbon fiber “skeleton” bonded to the underside of carbon fiber hood – reduced weight
- Supersedes P/N AC-HD15FDMU-AB
- The mesh screen is removable and paintable
- Mounts with OE hardware
- Requires hood pins for safety reasons
- Heatshield required
- Always carefully close a composite hood. Slamming or dropping the hood may cause it to crack.
- Re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts is not suggested
- The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended
*For the best possible fitment, we recommend having an expert install your product(s) – someone who has experience working with carbon fiber. Although some body shops have been in business for many years, they may not have sufficient experience in installing carbon fiber or fiberglass components. Make sure that your installer is familiar with these products.
