Borla S-Type on the 2024+ S650 Mustang EcoBoost
WHAT THIS DOES
The S650 EcoBoost sounds thin from the factory. This cat-back replaces everything from the catalytic converter back with 2.5-inch piping and dual 4-inch carbon fiber with black anodized base tips — one per side. Borla tuned this specifically for the 2.3L turbo four-cylinder. It brings out the turbo character with a deeper, more aggressive note without trying to fake a V8 sound.
S-Type tuning is the refined option. Noticeable improvement over stock, comfortable on highway drives. Borla’s Polyphonic Harmonizer inside the muffler kills drone without restricting flow. No Active Exhaust on the EcoBoost — this is a straight bolt-on with no electronics to deal with.
Fits both coupe and convertible. Same part number, same install. The dual tips fill the rear bumper cutouts cleanly on both body styles.
WHAT IT’S MADE OF
T-304 stainless steel, not the T-409 that cheaper brands use. Won’t rust, pit, or discolor. Every bend is mandrel-bent (not crush-bent) for smooth flow, and each system is CNC-machined for bolt-on fitment. Made in the USA. Ships at 53.3 lbs boxed (53 x 21 x 11 inches).
