Borla S-Type on the 2024+ S650 Mustang EcoBoost
WHAT THIS DOES
Same S-Type cat-back as the 140979 series but with quad tips — two per side instead of one. The quad layout fills the rear bumper with a more aggressive look that matches the visual weight of a GT exhaust. Still tuned for the 2.3L turbo four-cylinder with Borla’s refined S-Type sound.
Replaces everything from the catalytic converter back with 2.5-inch piping. Borla tuned this for the EcoBoost’s turbo character — deeper and more aggressive than stock, distinctly four-cylinder, no fake V8 sound. The Polyphonic Harmonizer kills highway drone without touching throttle response.
No Active Exhaust on the EcoBoost — straight bolt-on, no electronics. Fits both coupe and convertible with the same part number.
WHAT IT’S MADE OF
T-304 stainless steel, not the T-409 that cheaper brands use. Won’t rust, pit, or discolor. Every bend is mandrel-bent (not crush-bent) for smooth flow, and each system is CNC-machined for bolt-on fitment. Made in the USA. Ships at 53.3 lbs boxed (53 x 21 x 11 inches).
