WHAT THIS DOES
This is the entry-level cat-back for S650 GTs without Active Exhaust. The S-Type Cat-Back replaces the rear section from the cats back with 3-inch true dual piping and quad 4-inch polished chrome tips. No X-Pipe — simpler system, lower price point. For the upgraded version with the Merge X-Pipe (better sound merging, better flow), see the 140969/140970 series.
S-Type tuning sits between stock and ATAK on volume. Noticeable from outside, comfortable on a long highway drive. Borla’s Polyphonic Harmonizer inside the muffler kills drone without restricting flow. Loud when you want it, quiet when you don’t.
Borla tunes every system on a real S650 before production. This is not a universal kit adapted to fit — it is engineered for the Coyote V8’s exhaust pulses and the S650 chassis packaging.
WHAT IT’S MADE OF
T-304 stainless steel, not the T-409 that cheaper brands use. Won’t rust, pit, or discolor. Every bend is mandrel-bent (not crush-bent) for smooth flow, and each system is CNC-machined for bolt-on fitment. Made in the USA.
