Cold Air Intake
Overview
The COBB Cold Air Intake for the Mustang EcoBoost is constructed of full 3″ aluminum tubing, a custom aluminum airbox, and a dual-cone intake filter. Mandrel-bent and powder-coated black, the 3″ intake tube and custom airbox look great in the engine bay and substantially increase airflow potential. The reusable Green filter can be cleaned and re-used for the life of your vehicle.
Replacing the factory intake and airbox with the COBB Cold Air Intake greatly reduces pre-turbo restriction — and when restriction is removed, the engine runs more efficiently and can make more power. It is a core component of COBB’s Stage 2 hardware path for the Mustang EcoBoost.
