Fabspeed Motorsport’s engineering team consulted with HJS Motorsport and chose the largest HJS catalytic converter that would fit the G8x chassis. This guarantees the most exhaust flow, reliability, and sound. Our Sport Cat Downpipe will flow 93% of a 3” straight pipe, all while providing emissions compliant performance and NO check engine light. There’s no need to run cat bypass pipes!

SOUND:

Our Sport Cat Downpipe does an excellent job of subtly increasing the exhaust volume and deceleration pops and burbles, with no increase of unwanted interior drone. For a more aggressive exhaust note, add our Intermediate X-Pipe.

POWER:

On our in-house DynoJet, our high-flow Sport Cat Downpipe made max gains of 23 ft/lbs of TQ at 3,200 RPM and 20 WHP at 6,500 RPM. That’s 23 crank HP! Take a look at our dyno graph and you can see that power is gained throughout the entire power band.
