The Fabspeed stainless steel valved cat-back exhaust system is the ultimate exhaust solution for the C8 ZR1. It delivers the same high-pitched, 6700-rpm tone as their Supersport X-Pipe exhaust, while also allowing the driver to quiet the system using the factory exhaust-loudness settings. It is fully plug-and-play with the factory electric valve actuators and retains all drive-mode and Z-mode functions, with no fault codes. Fabspeed uses premium exhaust valves from Helical Limited in Great Britain, ensuring exceptional reliability and performance.

Fabspeed’s design process began by 3D-scanning the complete OEM exhaust system with their Creaform 700 Handscan to create an accurate SolidWorks model. They engineered the exhaust and fixtures around that model to achieve a precise, OEM-level fit. After multiple revisions focused on sound quality and dyno performance, they selected their signature cast X-Pipe to join the two cylinder banks, improving scavenging and reducing resonance. The valves are mounted to CNC-machined plates designed to manage heat and protect the electronics under demanding conditions. The system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel, and they apply ultra-high-temperature heat wrap to help keep engine-bay temperatures down.
