Featuring aerospace-grade construction and CFD-optimized end tanks for the EcoBoost engine, this intercooler supports 700+hp airflow rates with minimal pressure drop and is fully compatible with a variety of aftermarket bumper, winch, or other front-end upgrades.

- Enhanced Cooling Efficiency: The Full-Race Intercooler dramatically improves cooling efficiency by lowering Inlet Air Temperatures (IAT) by over 90° compared to OEM intercoolers, which can reach up to 220°F at max load. This significant reduction in temperature helps maintain near-ambient air intake levels, effectively preventing engine knock and enhancing overall performance.
- Optimized Design: With aerodynamically cast end tanks and a 70% larger internal flow area over stock, the Full-Race design optimizes airflow and cooling performance, and limits pressure drops to <1psi at 700+hp airflow rates.
- Designed for Durability: Constructed with TIG-welded end tanks and a high-strength, hand-fabricated steel lower support beam, this intercooler is built to last under tough conditions, unlike the OEM intercooler which is little more than an aluminum core that’s been affixed to a couple of plastic end tanks.
- Front-End Upgrade Compatibility: Unlike the OEM intercooler, the Full-Race kit supports various front-end upgrades, such as a steel bumper, bull bar, snowplow, and virtually any other form of F-150 front-end upgrades.

The 2015+ EcoBoost Ford F-150 (and its hardcore Gen 2/Gen 3 Raptor brethren) is the sort of truck that can tackle the worst forms of worksite abuse, and then shift gears to take on some serious off-road action over the weekend. Unfortunately, even the most hardcore trucks have their inherent pitfalls, with the intercooler portion of this pickup being one of its greatest weaknesses.
Also known as the CAC (charge air cooler), the stock intercooler unit on the F-150 is tucked beneath the radiator, and sits toward the lower portion of the front grille. The OE EcoBoost intercooler is little more than an aluminum core that’s been affixed to a couple of equally dinky plastic end tanks, which needless to say is not ideal for durability or for keeping intake air temperatures in check. Additionally, the stock intercooler does not allow the fitment of an aftermarket bumper (or a slew of other front-mount accessories), and will not support the addition of things like larger turbos or a tune on stock turbos.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Full-Race High-Flow Front Mount Intercooler Core: The intercooler core boasts a flow rate exceeding 1000cfm, ensuring less than 1psi pressure drop at power levels up to 600+hp. It offers a 70% larger internal flow area than OEM, utilizing oversized 10mm paths for both charge air and ambient air—significantly wider than the typical 6.5mm paths. This design maximizes cooling efficiency and performance, making it ideal for high-power applications.
Full-Race Intercooler Mounting Beam: A hand-fabricated lower support beam constructed from high-strength steel for additional rigidity and longevity.
Full-Race Aluminum Charge Piping (Hot and Cold Side): Inlet and outlet sizing has been boosted to accommodate 3″ piping on each side.
Cast Aluminum Y-Pipe: Our F-150 and Raptor intercooler kits feature a cast aluminum Y-Pipe for a stronger, better-fitting, and more reliable intercooler upgrade.
Hardware Kit: Engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement, this kit includes all necessary components for installation including 2-ply couplers, t-bold clamps, piping, mounting brackets, a horn relocation bracket, and more.
Optional Powder Coating: Protect and enhance your intercooler with optional black powder coating.
