4-Port MAC Boost Control Solenoid Valve
The Full-Race 4-Port MAC Boost Control Solenoid Valve delivers precise, repeatable boost control for turbocharged vehicles. Unlike standard 3-port solenoids that only regulate pressure to one side of the wastegate diaphragm, the 4-port design actively controls both the pressure and reference sides — enabling the use of a softer wastegate spring for faster spool-up and better low-gear boost control while still targeting accurate high-boost set points in upper gears.

4-Port vs. 3-Port Boost Control
A traditional 3-port MAC solenoid bleeds pressure from the wastegate signal line, which limits precision and can cause boost creep at high RPM. The 4-port design directly controls pressure to both the “open” and “closed” ports of the wastegate diaphragm, allowing the ECU or boost controller to actively push the wastegate closed for faster spool, then precisely release it at the target boost level. This results in a cleaner boost curve, more consistent power delivery, and significantly better low-gear boost control.

Vehicle Compatibility
Installation
Mount the solenoid in a secure location away from direct exhaust heat. Plumb the four 1/8″ NPT ports to your wastegate and boost source using appropriate silicone vacuum line and fittings. Connect the solenoid wiring to your boost controller or ECU duty-cycle output. A tune or boost controller recalibration is required after installation to dial in the new solenoid response.
