I’ve been fortunate enough to own a few cars and the Shelby has always been special to me, I sold my 2019 Z06 to get one after waiting a year and a half. The experience Charles and his crew gave was a first class, grade A, 10/10 trip. There aren’t enough acronyms and analogies I could give to describe it.
I saw his post on the Mustang/Shelby groups and wanted to give it a shot. I’ve had the “Corvette” experience (for Corvette owners) have done the Shelby experience Ford provides, the Mercedes AMG experience, and although they’re fun times, I wouldn’t say it’s as fun as this was. From the get go, communication was on point the entire time. I could call/text Charles whenever I needed and he always got back to me extremely quick. The preparation and itinerary he was able to get me before the trip and the plans was extreme timely and detailed.
Upon arrival, Charles himself came and picked me up in their badass Ford Raptor and took me out to eat after a 6hr flight from Philly to Phoenix. Food was great and well prepared from a great restaurant and throughout the car ride and eating, we got to talk a lot and get to know each other a bit. Hands down a great stand up guy. From there he showed me his shop and things he’s working on and future plans. After that he gave me my rental (2021 fully loaded GT) and drove to where I was staying. Again, grade A.
First full day in town, in the early morning we went to eat and right out to the track. The track itself was beautiful, it was a newer track in the area, Apex. Early in the morning got to learn from the great Billy Johnson on track skills, driving, and philosophies. Then it was out on the track with a lead in follow, learning the layout and practicing skills with Charles and Billy. The provided the track helmet, gloves, etc. while they also had a photographer taking photos and videos and utilizing on board GoPro footage. It was pretty damn sick.
I realize much of this is sort of a play by play so I’ll sum it up, to genuinely see and feel what this car is truly capable of is insane. The fact that pretty much anyone can go to a dealership and bring this home. Dominate track against cars much more expensive than it or go to a drags trip and run 8/9/10sec passes is ridiculous. Coming from a track perspective, this thing is a monster. The speed and grip this car has is ridiculous. Flying through hair pin corners doing 50/60/70mph then wide open to 140/150, then back to a 70mph corner, blows my mind. Learning from Charles and Billy and how to drive the car it’s meant to be driven was an amazing experience. I even asked them to take a lap in it just to see the cars capability, and you quickly realize in most cases, the driver is the limiting factor, not the car.
This is hands down the best car experience I have had, from anywhere. If you’re looking to see what the car can do, become a better performance driver, or even just have some fun. Reach out to them, set something up. It is 10000% worth it.

I don’t even know where to begin…this is an absolutely insane experience.
Where else can you spend two full days with three professional racing instructors with the track all to yourself? This was the first time I had ever spent time on a track and Charles’ team quickly progressed me from stiff and nervous to carving out hot lap after hot lap. We covered everything, all the way from basics to advanced techniques. If anyone has any interest in high-performance racing, GT500s, or just feeling 760hp of adrenaline through your veins… DO. THIS. NOW!

First off, charles and his crew are amazing, top notch. Best in the business. Customer service is what they excel at. The car is amazing, it’s capabilities are beyond what you think a mustang can do. I would recommend 1000% to anyone who wants an amazing track experience with a phenomenal car and an ever better person, look no further then charles and his arrive and drive program. Charles is a real professional when it comes to track and car knowledge. If u listen to what he says, you will have an amazing time with no regrets and will want to come back again.

I’ve driven a lot of different cars on a race track, and the GT 500 is hands down one of the best cars I’ve driven. You have access to unlimited power as soon as you squeeze the throttle, the steering is direct without any slop, and lap after lap the brakes never fade. It’s hard to believe this car is a street legal Mustang! The proof is in the pudding, I’m already signed up for his next event!
