The Garrett® direct fit 2017 to 2020 Ford F-150 charge air cooler boasts an 83% larger core than stock to provide huge reductions in air temperature with a 30% reduction in pressure drop. Aerodynamically Optimized end tanks improve airflow through the core by improving turbulent design features found in the stock unit. This direct-fit performance intercooler is easily installed in the OEM location and can support up to 750 horsepower while reusing the stock bolts, hoses, and clamps. Also known as the CAC (charge air cooler), the stock F150 CAC is located below the radiator in the lower front grille area.

I have this cooler on my 1966 F100 that is equipped with a 2020 Raptor Crate ENgine &10R80. The fit n finish is out of the ballpark! on E50 fuel with 100% Stock engine including the OEM air filter on base tune I am at 603 HP and 658 lb ft at tire! On v2 of the tune and bunches more. The 603/658 was obvious limit for the PCM as it was closing throttle. (I do have a home built equal length 3″ Dual 304 stainless exhaust). Even though this cooler was built for the F150/Raptor it fits my truck much better than the OEM Cooler. Now I have such a minimal temp drop from ambient to what engine see’s it’s unreal.
