A no-compromises short-throw built to handle the rigors of competition racing — with the street manners to live in your daily driver. MGW machines and assembles every shifter in-house in Augusta, GA. Twelve grade-8 bolts and a center-bearing design hold the shift linkage and transmission in perfect alignment, every shift, every time.

Why It Shifts Better

Holds the shift linkage and transmission perfectly aligned at all times. Engagement stays crisp from cold start to track day — no slop, no missed gates.
Twelve grade-8 fasteners attach the main shifter body to the rigid support arm. Track-tested under sustained competition use without flex or fatigue.
Like MGW’s Gen 2 GT500 shifter, the TR-3160 unit retains the factory body mount for the rear support block. Drops in without cutting or fab work.
The rear support keeps the shifter from contacting the driveshaft under hard launches and aggressive cornering — no rattles, no driveline contact.
