CEL-FREE VALVE REMOVAL
Soul’s Valve Delete Modules solve a critical problem for 992 GT3 owners looking to run non-valved exhaust systems. The factory electronic valve actuators cannot simply be removed from the valves – doing so causes the car to throw a check engine light and enter a reduced rev limiter of only 6,000 RPM.
THE PROBLEM
On the 992 GT3, Porsche switched from vacuum-actuated to electronically-actuated exhaust valves. If you try to unplug the valves to stop them from closing, the car sets a CEL and won’t allow the engine to rev over 6k RPM. If you physically remove the electronic valve actuators from the system, you can’t use the existing valved exhaust because the actuators hold tension on the valves themselves – without them, the valves would simply flap around.
THE SOLUTION
Soul’s Valve Delete Modules are engineered to simulate the electronic valve actuators. Simply plug the modules into the factory valve harnesses in place of the actuators. The car’s ECU sees proper signals and allows full rev range with no check engine lights or reduced performance modes.
PLUG-AND-PLAY INSTALLATION
Installation is simple – disconnect the factory valve actuator harnesses and plug in the Valve Delete Modules. No cutting, splicing, or programming required. The modules are designed for direct fitment with the factory connectors.
