Come take a look at this CS style carbon fiber hood for your 2018+ F90 M5 (LCI and Competition) and G30 5-Series. This Carbon Fiber hood offers less weight and a more aggressive appearance over your factory hood. This product is bolt-on which requires no special modifications to your BMW, but it will likely need adjusting to get the correct fit. Each CS style hood is crafted from genuine carbon fiber that will perfectly match the look of any RW or OEM part you have installed on your BMW. Like all of our parts, each hood comes backed with RW Carbon’s superior fitment and quality guarantee to ensure you rock a piece you can be proud of. Our hoods come with studs built into the hood unlike some other options on the market which do not mount like OEM.
Installation
Installation for the RW carbon hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. All of your factory hood accessories will carry over. Our hood also has OEM-style studs, unlike some other options on the market which makes installation more difficult. Installation can be completed in around 2 hours and requires standard hand tools. If you need installation in Southern California, we can get it done for you!
- Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
