This DTM carbon fiber hood designed for your 2019+ G20 3-Series provides a lighter and more aggressive appearance when compared to your factory hood. This product offers a straightforward bolt-on installation, requiring no special modifications to your BMW. Each DTM hood is meticulously crafted from carbon fiber, ensuring a perfect match with the aggressive aesthetics of any RW or OEM components you have already installed on your car. Our carbon fiber hood is backed by RW Carbon’s unwavering commitment to superior fitment and quality, ensuring that you showcase a piece you can take pride in. Unlike other options on the market that deviate from OEM standards, our hoods come equipped with integrated studs for a secure and OEM-like mounting experience.
Installation
Installation for the RW carbon fiber hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. Our hood also has OEM style studs, unlike some other options on the market which makes installation more difficult. Installation can be completed in around 2 hours and requires standard hand tools. If you need installation in Southern California, we can get it done for you!
- Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
