Now introducing our Carbon Fiber Hood for your BMW G06 X6 and F96 X6M. Like all of RW’s products, fitment is tight and secure, and in this case, it’s bolt-on requiring no special modifications to your BMW. Carbon fiber hoods is crafted in 100% dry carbon fiber and then finished off with a UV-resistant clear coat to ensure a lasting shine and shimmer. Our full dry carbon fiber construction will be lighter and stronger than other Carbon Fiber hoods on the market. Each hood comes backed by RW Carbon’s superior fitment and quality guarantee that so many BMW owners have grown to love. Our carbon fiber hood for the F96 and G06 come with studs built into the hood which will make installation much easier. Installation
Installation for the RW carbon fiber hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. Our hood also has OEM style studs and anchor points to make the transfer of the factory accessories and installation much easier. Installation can be completed in around 2 hours and requires standard hand tools. If you need installation in Southern California, we can get it done for you!
- Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
