Introduce our GTS style carbon fiber hood for your BMW F30 3 or F32 4 series. Like all of RW’s product fitment is bolt-on requiring no special modifications to your BMW. This hood also saves your vehicle about 20 pounds which is essential if you are looking to track your BMW. Carbon fiber hoods will come in a 2×2 carbon fiber finish with a clear coat ready to be installed straight on your car. Each hood comes backed by RW Carbon’s fitment and quality guarantee that so many BMW owners have come to love. Our GTS style hoods come with studs built into the hood unlike some other options on the market which do not mount like OEM. This GTS Style hood will fit your BMW F30, F31, F32, F33, or F36. Installation
Installation for the RW hood is quite simple, as it uses OEM mounting locations. Our hood also has OEM style studs, unlike some other options on the market which makes installation more difficult. Installation can be completed in around 1-2 hours and requires standard hand tools. Minor adjustments to the factory hood brackets may be required. If you need installation in Southern California, we can get it done for you!
- Note: Your OEM hood struts are engineered with a heavier metal hood in mind and are not intended for carbon fiber hoods. We recommend removing the struts or replacing them with a strut with less resistance. When closing the hood, do not slam it but rather apply even pressure with the palms of your hands to get the hood to latch in place. Not following these instructions can lead to premature cracking or damage.
