Steeda's S550/S650 Drag Pack for 2015+ Mustangs is the ultimate suspension kit for the drag strip. Featured on our 2018 world-record-setting, 10-second 2018 Mustang GT, this kit ensures your Mustang stays firmly planted for a more powerful launch.
The kit is comprised of our Mustang suspension components that helped us achieve the record at the drag strip. This kit helps you get traction at the track and stop the wheel hop that you experience when launching your IRS equipped Mustang. By preventing wheel hop, you are able to launch harder and accelerate faster so that you can achieve better times down the 1/8th or 1/4 mile.
First is our Alignment dowel kit. This fills the factory bolt hole voids with CNC machined Delrin inserts that will square up the rear subframe to the chassis. By filling these voids we are also limiting the side to side and front to back movement of the subframe that is present under hard acceleration and braking.
Second is our tried and true Differential Bushing Insert System. A removable upgrade for your Mustang, these urethane inserts do not require any permanent modification and can be installed in under an hour. These minimize pinion angle changes, eliminate wheel hop, and eliminate differential deflection.
Third to this kit is the Adjustable Rear Toe Links. Providing over an inch of toe adjustment, these rear toe links let you dial in your alignment to maximize per formance at the track. TIG-welded and powder-coated, these are a premium upgrade that can handle the abuse of racing.
Fourth is our Vertical Links. CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and featuring Delrin bushings, these vertical links prevent deflection and help you maintain traction. Unlike the factory pieces, these vertical links will not flex under load, giving you a better feel of the rear suspension and helping the rest of the rear suspension per form as it is intended.
Fifth is our Billet Rear Shock Mounts. Made to be a high-per formance upgrade over the factory cast pieces, these billet shock mounts use a spherical Teflon lined bearing that will not deteriorate under aggressive launches like the factory rubber bushing. These pieces also provide additional clearance for wider rear tires so that you can get more rubber to put the power down.
Note:Will not fit 2024+ Mustang equipped with Brembo brakes.
