The all new Ford S550 Mustang shifter utilizes a reverse pull up collar rather than the previous push down method. The one big downside to this new reverse pull up collar is the materials used are cheap and wear/break after prolonged use. The plastic components in the reverse lock-out mechanism on your GT, EcoBoost or V6 shifter were not made to stand the test of time or prolonged use, once broken you will find yourself stuck and unable to engage your pony into reverse.
Our Steeda S550 Mustang Billet Aluminum Reverse Lock-Out Collar is a solid one piece replacement for your OE factory lock-out collar. This lock-out collar has a brushed finish to match the interior of your 2015+GT, EcoBoost, or V6 Mustang. You will not need to worry about getting stuck without reverse capabilities, our billet aluminum reverse lock-out collar will take the abuse and is backed by our Steeda limited lifetime warranty.
Manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Valdosta, Georgia, we have CNC machined our reverse pull up collar out of 6061 billet aluminum to give your reverse pull up mechanism the strength to last a lifetime.
