These panels feature a layer of a dimpled stainless shield, similar to what you see around your engine bay, then a layer of fiberglass insulation rated to 1600 degrees Celcius, then a thick 2.5mm Anodized aluminum panel. If you have not already, check out our video of the prototypes on Instagram and Facebook, we will launch a YouTube edited video here soon also..
We placed a sheet of 3mm aluminum on a burner on the left and next to it on another burner, (both running flat out) our HIP.
Needless to say, we suggest you check if these panels will fit if you have some “agricultural” pipe intakes with filters stuck on. (should do, if they don’t you can return them)
