AWE 180 Technology® cancels highway drone while preserving the V8 exhaust character under throttle. Touring Edition is the choice for a C7 that gets driven to work and to the track.
Sound Character
The C7’s LT1/LT4 V8 has naturally good exhaust character — the axle-back system amplifies it without changing the fundamental tone. Track Edition: louder and more present at all speeds. Touring Edition: present under throttle, disappears at cruise.
Construction
- U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel, 0.065″ wall
- 3.0″ CNC mandrel-bent tubing
- 4.5″ double-walled slash-cut tips (Chrome Silver or Diamond Black coated)
- Axle-back bolt-on design — replaces factory mufflers and tips
- Engineered, manufactured, and hand-finished in West Chester, PA by AWE Tuning
Installation
Direct bolt-on axle-back installation. Replaces the factory muffler section. About 1–1.5 hours on a lift with basic hand tools. No cutting, no welding, no tune required.
