Note: Axle-back systems do not require an AFM Valve Simulator. The AWE Valve Simulator is only required for cat-back installations on AFM-equipped vehicles.
Track Edition, Quad Outlet: Pick Your Look
Dual vs Quad tip is a pure aesthetic choice — both deliver the same Track Edition sound character. Dual Outlet gives the stock tip count with an upgraded finish. Quad Outlet gives the Camaro four 4.5″ slash-cut tips and a more aggressive rear appearance. Both are loud, aggressive, and fully Track Edition.
Sound Character
The Gen6 LT1/LT4 V8 through an AWE axle-back is a clear step up from stock — more present, more defined, more character. Track Edition: loud from idle, aggressive under throttle.
Construction
- U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel, 0.065″ wall
- CNC mandrel-bent tubing, axle-back section replaces factory mufflers
- 4.5″ double-walled tips — dual or quad outlet depending on variant
- Engineered, manufactured, and hand-finished in West Chester, PA by AWE Tuning
Installation
Direct bolt-on axle-back installation replacing the factory muffler section. About 1–1.5 hours on a lift. No cutting, no welding, no tune required.
