The exhaust comes with two wireless remote controls that have three modes:

1. Smart mode – which the OBDII module tells the exhaust valve module to allow the engine vacuum to open or close the exhaust valve. You can also set the exhaust valve module to an automatic mode which will open/close the exhaust valve based on predetermined RPM range or throttle position.
2. Neighbor mode –  the valves are closed.
3. Beast mode – the valves are open.

Notes:

• For the 2017-2020 GTR models:
  • It is necessary to reattach the EV motors before you start the engine after installation.
  • If you do not re-attach the stock actuator back right away, you risk damaging the connector by exposing the sensors to harmful external agents, such as moisture, which will cause irreparable damage to the sensors’ basic operational functions.
  • The damage will severe the communication between the motor and the ECU. Unable to receive the precise information, the ECU will trigger the check engine light to warn you of the error, ultimately diminishing your driving experience.
  • There have been reported cases regarding issues with CEL errors resulting from stock EV Motors. This error will not affect the performance or driving experience. If you wish to delete this error please use ECUTek.
