Overview
This is a rear-section conversion kit for owners who already have an AWE Touring or Track Edition resonated exhaust installed. It replaces just the resonated portion behind the mid-pipe with the non-resonated equivalents. Your mid-pipe, your tips, and all hardware stay where they are. Bolt-on swap — no cutting, no welding, no tune required.

- Rear non-resonated sections, T304L stainless (3.0″ diameter, 0.065″ wall)
- All mounting hardware, clamps, and gaskets
- AWE installation instructions
Tips are not included — this kit re-uses your existing AWE tips.
Sound Character
The resonated AWE setup mutes a portion of the B58 turbo whoosh and exhaust note for a refined cabin. Removing the resonators opens up the system: louder at WOT, more pop and crackle on overrun, and noticeably more presence at idle and cruise. Still tuned by AWE — not a straight-pipe drone monster, but unambiguously aggressive.

Installation
Direct bolt-on swap of the rear sections. Roughly 45 minutes on a lift with basic hand tools. AWE’s installation instructions are included. No tune required.

This product carries AWE’s No Check Engine Light Guarantee. When installed on a compatible stock vehicle per AWE’s instructions, it will not trigger a CEL. AWE backs the fix if it does.
