As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into a 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports into precision-engineered reflection chambers. Sound waves bounce off the chamber walls, and AWE engineers have sized and positioned these ports and chambers specifically for the GR Supra’s B58 acoustics. The reflected waves rejoin the main exhaust flow as a 180° out-of-phase sound wave, canceling problematic drone frequencies while preserving the deep, aggressive exhaust character. The result is AWE’s signature sound — unlocked performance and spot-on tone, every time.
