The BNR 525 turbocharger is specifically designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the 2015-2023 Ford EcoBoost Mustang. It will perform similarly to other bolt-on turbocharger upgrades, such as the Turbonetics NX2. The BNR 525 can produce up to around 525 wheel horsepower (WHP) with appropriate fueling upgrades and a built motor. However, this turbocharger will likely offer significant performance gains even on a stock-engine car.
It is important to note that upgrading to a more powerful turbocharger can significantly affect the rest of the vehicle’s components. Fueling upgrades such as larger injectors and a high-flow fuel pump will be necessary to support the maximum power output of the BNR Turbocharger. Tuning the engine’s computer will be required to achieve safe and robust gains.
The turbos will come with oil/coolant lines and reuse your current downpipe/hot side intercooler piping. You will need to source your coupler to mate with your intake. The inlet on the BNR turbos is 3.5″.
