⚠️ Critical Fitment Note — Towing Package Required: This cooler is a direct plug-and-play replacement ONLY on trucks equipped with the Heavy Duty Towing Package (also called Max Tow Package or Trailer Tow Package). These trucks have a factory front-mounted transmission oil cooler (Ford P/N FL3Z-7A095-A or HL3Z-7A095-A) that the CSF #8102 directly replaces.
Base trucks without the Towing Package use only a smaller transmission-mounted cooler (ML3Z-7869-C) and do NOT have the front-mount cooler. Installing the CSF #8102 on a base truck requires additional parts, brackets, and hard lines ($300-500+ in additional cost) to route fluid to the front-mount location. Contact us for guidance if you're unsure which cooling setup your truck has.
