This is a short block — cylinder head, head studs, head gasket, gasket kits, and timing components are sold separately. EMS recommends OEM head gaskets & CA625+ head studs for every BadAss Build (add via Must-Haves bundle below).
Installation note: EMS does not take responsibility if assembled or timed incorrectly by non-EMS technicians. The 2.3L EcoBoost is more complex than it looks. If you or your shop are uncertain at any step, schedule a Facetime / WebEx / Zoom consultation at $75/hr by calling EMS at (423) 500-4901 BEFORE proceeding.

Shipping & Delivery
Freight via SEFL (South East Freight Lines)
All EMS engines ship through SEFL within the southeastern US, then may transfer to a partner carrier for delivery elsewhere. Tracking visibility is limited — EMS will email you a shipping window before dispatch and the freight carrier should call to confirm a delivery time.
If your crate arrives damaged: refuse the shipment, do NOT sign the receipt, take photos, and email sales@emsinc-tn.com immediately. Failure to refuse damaged shipments may void EMS’s 1-Year Warranty.
International orders: email sales@emsinc-tn.com BEFORE placing your order to confirm shipping costs & logistics.
Shipping cost overage: if actual freight exceeds the allotted amount, EMS will reach out with the difference. Pay it via the “Shipping/Contingency Charge” button at the top of the EMS website.
