Installation Notes
- Footprint — full rig needs roughly 5.5′ × 4.5′ floor space + clearance for pedal kick and seat travel. Wheel-equipped so you can roll it out of the way between sessions.
- Build order — frame first, seat second, wheelbase third, pedals last. Pedal torque anchors the frame; doing them last keeps the chassis from shifting during assembly.
- Solo-build time — 90-120 minutes with standard metric tools (3/4/6mm hex, 13mm socket). Plan for two hours your first time.
- Wheelbase orientation — frontal direct-drive is the default. Horizontal side mount only if you prefer a lean-forward GT/F1 geometry.
- Monitor mount tip — eye line should land at upper third of screen, not centered. Drop the bracket if you’re under 5’10” on a fixed-height chair.
- Pedal preload — don’t over-torque the pedal-plate bolts on first install. Run one full session, then torque to spec after the frame seats.
