The FX1 isn’t a shrunken GT cockpit — it’s a ground-up formula platform. Reclined seat angle, legs forward, wheel high on the wheel-hub plate. The geometry matches real formula and prototype cars, and it’s been tested and endorsed by professional drivers.

Reclined seat, legs stretched forward, hands high on the wheel-hub plate — this is how real F1, IndyCar, and prototype drivers sit. You feel the weight of the car in corner entry, not just the wheel torque. GT drivers coming from sedans will take a session to adapt; once you do, you won’t go back.

The Sim Racing Cockpit FX1 Formula is ESR’s dedicated formula platform — designed from the ground up for reclined, legs-forward driving geometry, not adapted from a GT chassis. If you race F1, IndyCar, prototype, or formula-style cars in iRacing, ACC, Assetto Corsa, or rFactor 2, this is the rig that matches the real-world seating you’re trying to simulate.
Multiple chassis color combos (White/Red, Black/Red, Red/Yellow, Black/Green Water), included racing seat, 5-year warranty, and wheels for easy mobility. Electronics (wheel, pedals, shifter) are your pick from the configurator.

Installation Notes
- Footprint — roughly 6′ × 4′ floor space with pedal extension and seat travel.
- Solo-build time — 90–120 minutes with standard metric tools.
- Formula adaptation — give yourself one session to adapt to the reclined geometry; muscle memory from GT chassis takes 30–60 minutes to re-calibrate.
- Pedal plate angle — start steep (70–80°) for authentic formula feel; adjust to taste after first session.
- Wheel height — hub plate sits high; set your seat low so elbows are at or below shoulder height for real formula posture.
- Electronics not included — wheel, pedals, and shifter are your choice. Seat is included.
