Fi EXHAUST components are bespoke production items — manufactured on demand specifically for your order. Materials are allocated and manufacturing begins as soon as your order is placed. The order cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned for any reason including change of mind, longer-than-expected lead time, fitment compatibility (verify before ordering), shipping delays, or any other reason. Before You Order
Why is the lead time so long?
Fi EXHAUST is not a stocked product line. Every catback, downpipe, and header pair is hand-built at Fi’s Taiwan facility when ordered — T304 stainless mandrel-bent, TIG welded, valvetronic actuators fitted, tip finish applied, then bench-tested before shipping. The 4–8 week window covers production + air freight from Taiwan to FFP’s Thousand Oaks shop, then to you.
Why no refunds or cancellations?
Because Fi allocates raw materials and starts production within hours of order receipt. Materials are cut, bent, and welded to your exact spec (tip color, configuration). There is no resale market for a half-built bespoke exhaust. This is the same model every premium exhaust maker (Akrapovič, iPE, Capristo, ARMYTRIX) uses for made-to-order systems. We’re straight with you about it up front.
How do I know it will fit my car?
Message us BEFORE you order. Send VIN, trim package, and any modifications (downpipe, headers, sport cats, OPF delete). We verify against Fi’s fitment database and confirm before you commit. Once the order is placed, fitment confirmation is your responsibility — we cannot accept returns for fitment issues that pre-order verification would have caught.
Will this trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light)?
Depends on the product. Valvetronic muffler catbacks generally retain factory cats/OPF and do not trigger a CEL. Catless downpipes / headers / Race Version full systems remove emissions hardware and will trigger a CEL unless paired with a tune or O2 simulator. Each product page calls out CEL risk in the fitment section — read carefully or ask us.
Do I need to tune my car?
Catback-only installs (this product type) do not require a tune — valves run off the factory exhaust control signal. Catless / Race Version installs typically require tuning or a CEL fix. We coordinate tuning through our trusted partners (Cobb, EMS, MHD, etc.) if needed.
What if there’s a manufacturing defect?
Fi EXHAUST covers manufacturing defects under their published warranty. FFP coordinates the claim directly with Fi on your behalf — you don’t deal with Taiwan customs or factory back-and-forth. Defects are rare; Fi has built valvetronic systems since 2013 and the QC is industry-leading.
Can I get faster shipping?
The 4–8 week window is dominated by production time, not shipping. Air freight is included. There is no “rush production” option from Fi.

TWO PERSONALITIES.
A complete cat-back exhaust system that swaps the OEM muffler section on a 992.1 GT3 and GT3 RS. T304 stainless throughout. Mandrel bent. TIG welded. The muffler chamber houses Fi’s Frequency Intelligent valve — close it for near-stock cabin volume on the daily, open it for unfiltered 4.0 flat-six rasp at full throttle.
The valve runs off the factory PSE signal — the same Sport button you already use to wake up the OEM active exhaust. No extra wiring. No ECU flash. No remote required. Fi’s Pro remote is optional if you want manual override outside of Sport mode.

The factory 992 GT3 RS exhaust weighs 37.2 lb (16.87 kg). Fi’s valvetronic catback drops that to 12.6 kg — about 25% lighter, all from the muffler-section swap alone. Less mass behind the rear axle, less rotational inertia in the chassis, more freedom in the rev range. Independent dyno on Fi’s full Race Version (catless headers + this catback) shows up to +25 WHP across the mid-range without ECU tuning — the platform breathes when you free it up.

Two-post lift, basic hand tools, no fab. Average shop time is 90–120 minutes for a competent tech. No tune required — the valve runs off the factory PSE control signal, so the ECU sees nothing new and there’s zero CEL risk on this catback-only setup.
