The Next Step Up
PT5558 Gen 2 takes the smallest frame in the CEA family and refines it. Same 55 mm inducer, upgraded Gen 2 CEA wheel profile, revised bearing specs, 650 HP rating — 60 more than Gen 1. If you’re building a high-revving 1.6–2.0L and want every last bit of airflow out of a stock-location frame, this is it.
Competition Engineered Aerodynamics
Gen 2 blade geometry is tighter than the original 5558. Surge margin widens, pressure ratio climbs faster, and the peak efficiency island shifts to match what actual tuners run on small engines. More power at the same boost pressure as Gen 1, verified on a dyno.
Dual Ceramic Center Section
Gen 2 dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge. Shaft-speed rating is up, bearing noise is down, and on a small-frame turbo like this the reduced rotational mass translates directly to sharper throttle response. Perfect for high-revving Honda K20s and 2.0L direct-injected inline-fours.
