RV6’s catted downpipe for the 10th-Gen Accord 2.0T (K20C4) — designed alongside the FK8 Civic Type-R downpipe with a high-temperature 300-cell metallic catalyst, 304 stainless precision-cast transitions, and a 3.0″ outlet that bolts to factory or aftermarket exhaust.
Engineering & Construction
RV6 designed this downpipe using SolidWorks 3D modeling + a Creaform 3D laser scanner for precise turbo-flange and chassis fitment. Turbo-to-tube and tube-to-front-pipe transitions were optimized with flow analysis for maximum velocity. The catalyst manufacturer collaboration produced a high-temperature metallic core that survives sustained boost where standard cats melt down. Fully TIG welded with argon back-gassing for pure, clean welds inside and out.

What’s In The Box
If you select a ceramic coating option (Silver or Black), expect an additional 7–14 business days of processing time on top of normal shipping. The bare 304 stainless option ships immediately from RV6 inventory.
Ceramic coating dramatically reduces under-hood heat transfer (−200°F+ surface temps under load) and provides a premium visual finish. Black coating is a flat satin black; Silver is a polished metallic finish.
RV6 warranty: 24 months on castings and welding. No warranty on the catalytic converter core itself — cats are consumables and not covered against thermal damage from improper tunes, misfires, or rich AFRs.
Race tune required: this is a high-flow performance part. Always pair with a complementary tune (KTuner, Hondata, or equivalent). Running an aftermarket downpipe on a stock tune may trigger CEL and rich-fueling conditions.
