BMW shipped the F96 X6M and G06 X6 with relatively understated factory side sills. RW Carbon’s RWS Style side skirt extensions are direct bolt-on lower-body additions — aggressive geometry, sharp lower edge, and pronounced body line accent in genuine hand-laid dry carbon fiber. The skirts pair with the matching DTM rear diffuser and front lip for a complete carbon aero package.
Built in Anaheim, California from real dry carbon, then UV clear-coated for high-gloss shine and weather protection. Install is direct bolt-on to the factory rocker panel mounting points using included hardware — 45-60 minute job per side with basic tools. No drilling into the factory rocker, no body work. Reverse the install at any time to revert to OEM.

FAQ
Will these fit a regular X6 (non-M)?
Yes — the F96 X6M and G06 X6 share the same lower rocker geometry, so these skirts fit both chassis. Whether you have the M Competition or a 40i / M50i, the rocker mount points are the same.
Will these fit F86 X6M (pre-2019)?
No. The pre-2019 F86 X6M uses a different rocker panel design and will not fit these skirts. RW Carbon offers separate side skirt designs for F86 chassis — reach out to FFP if you have a pre-2019 X6M.
Is this real carbon fiber or hydrodip / wrap?
Real dry carbon fiber. Hand-laid carbon fabric with rigid resin blend, then UV clear-coated. You can see and feel the genuine weave — this is a structural carbon part, not a printed plastic part with a carbon-look finish.
Will they remove cleanly if I sell the car or go back to stock?
Yes. The skirts unbolt at the factory rocker mounting points and the OE rocker panel is preserved. Reversal takes about as long as the original install.
Should I install these myself or use a body shop?
Most owners install the skirts themselves with the car on a lift or jack stands. The job is a straightforward bolt-on at factory locations — standard hand tools, 45-60 minutes per side. If you prefer professional install, any reputable BMW indie shop can handle it in a single appointment.
Can I drive immediately after install?
Yes — once the skirts are bolted in and the mounts are torqued, they’re ready for normal driving including rain and car washes.
