Want to tear up the pavement and not your differential housing? Steeda has the part for you! Steeda’s HARDCORE S550/S650 Mustang Differential Brackets were developed after multiple aluminum differential housings had front ear failures at the track. This simple bolt-in part locks the differential in place and redistributes the loads so that the front ears are under less stress. This enables you to run the aluminum differential housing, which shaves 20+ lbs off of the rear of your Mustang! The Steeda HARDCORE S550/S650 Mustang Differential Brackets are a must for anyone running today’s compounds drag radials and slicks. NVH will be added, but this is a simple install that can be done before a track day and removed when hitting the streets in your daily.
Decrease wheel hop and rear differential movement on your Mustang by adding these braces, differential pinion rise and lateral movement are significantly reduced. Less drivetrain movement means more power to ground. More power to the ground means more enjoyment out of your Mustang.
Steeda’s design has also eliminated the single shear design which exists between the rear differential mounting ear and the rear subframe bushing, replacing it with a triple shear design. This reduces the average stress on the bolt, allowing for 3 times the load capacity! But Steeda didn’t stop there. We have also added upgraded hardware for an added factor of safety, ensuring you confidence when launching your Mustang.
