This coupler is required when pairing a UPR dual-valve catch can with an aftermarket cold air intake or intake pipe on a 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. Stock intake setups do not need this adapter.
Overview
The UPR EcoBoost Intake Coupler Adapter bridges your UPR dual-valve catch can to the new intake pipe diameter when you swap the factory intake for an aftermarket CAI. When you pull the stock airbox, the PCV hose connection point changes size – this black 4-ply silicone coupler with a 1/2 inch male Plug N Play fitting re-establishes the connection so your catch can keeps doing its job.
Two sizes cover the common Mustang EcoBoost intake swaps: the H5032-37 (2.25 inch to 2.25 inch) works with stock-diameter intake pipes and straight-diameter aftermarket pipes. The H5032-38 (2.25 inch to 3 inch step-up) adapts to larger-diameter aftermarket intake systems. Select the correct size from the dropdown above based on your intake setup.

Installation
- Time: 15 minutes or less once your intake is out.
- Difficulty: Clamp-on. Slide the coupler between the PCV port on your aftermarket intake tube and your existing UPR catch can hose.
- Tools: Flat-blade screwdriver for hose clamps.
- Orientation: Direction-insensitive – install whichever way clears your routing.
