The PCV problem.
Your C8 Stingray’s factory Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system vents oil vapor and combustion blow-by gases straight back into the intake manifold. Over time that oily mist coats your intake tract, valves, and runners with carbon sludge.
The result on a direct-injected LT2: carbon build-up, retarded timing, detonation, power loss, and eventually expensive walnut-blast service. The factory PCV system has no way to separate the oil vapor from the gas before sending it back through.
UPR’s Single Valve Catch Can intercepts that oil mist with a three-chamber separator, sends clean filtered air back to the intake, and traps the oil in a serviceable cup. Empty it every oil change. Done.
