Overview
The UPR Plug N Play Single Valve Oil Catch Can for 2020-2024 Corvette C8 is the clean PCV-side trap for C8 LT2 owners who want to keep oil vapor out of the intake without a CEL, without tuning drama, and without hacking the factory PCV system. UPR’s patented 3-chamber separation design pulls oil out of the crankcase vapor path before it reaches the intake valves – on both naturally aspirated and boosted C8s.
This is the single-valve (dirty-side only) kit. It traps oil vapor flowing from the crankcase to the intake during idle, cruise, and normal driving. For boosted applications where the clean side also pushes oil mist under positive pressure, UPR’s dual-valve kits add a Clean Side Separator – but for stock LT2 or mild bolt-ons, the single valve handles PCV protection cleanly.

Installation
- Time: Approximately 15 minutes for a first-timer.
- Difficulty: Plug-and-play. No drilling, no wiring mods, no tune.
- Tools: 10mm socket, flat-blade screwdriver for PCV quick-connect release.
- Convertible tip: Convertible routing lets you service the can without removing the engine cover – nice quality-of-life if you’re drain-checking frequently during break-in.
- First drain: Check after 500-1000 miles. Expect 1-3 oz of captured oil on the first check. Interval stretches as blow-by stabilizes.

Upgrade Options
Billet Pro-Series Check Valve – Larger, higher-flowing replacement for the standard check valve. Generally increases vacuum through the catch can and improves PCV evacuation. Better evacuation can translate to better MPG and low-speed drivability. Required if you’re running forced induction on your C8.
Replacement O-Ring Kit – The containment cup uses an O-ring seal. Having a spare set in the glove box is good insurance – easy to drop or tear one when draining.
