The unrestricted build.
Whipple’s Gen 5 rotor technology made the 3.0L the street king — this is what happens when they take the leash off. The W235RF 3.8L runs all-new bearings, gears, rotors and housing that spin faster, longer and safer than any positive-displacement blower before it, with an improved rotor profile, better sealing and a ~6% gain in isentropic efficiency over the 3.0L.
The two-piece inlet design opens up access to the rear bolts and spark plugs that older models buried. And size-wise: slightly taller than the 4.0L but 60mm shorter — serious girth without taking out your firewall.
