Can you believe it? We’ve been in business for 3 and a half years now. It’s no secret that we’ve had extreme highs and beyond lows, but something about 2024 feels different. If you’re new here, my name is Charles Siritho; I am Function Factory Performance’s founder, owner, and operator. I’ve retaken the reigns, and it’s time for me to lead the charge as I did in 2020. I want to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on here at the shop. Speaking of shops, I bet you didn’t know we had a new shop!

Back in December 2022, we were ordered to vacate our original shop. It was by far the most heartbreaking thing that has happened to me in business. I had set forth many projects before the notice, such as our Independent McLaren Specialist Shop & Training, our investment into McLaren tools and shop equipment, new employees, and heavy marketing campaigns. All of this meant nothing once we were kicked out. Rebuilding Function Factory Performance from that experience has been the most difficult challenge in my life. Still, I am hard-headed and resilient and will stop at nothing to be successful in this industry.

I’m happy to announce that we have moved into a new facility 7 minutes Southwest of our location. We are now located in the prestigious Scottsdale Airpark. At this moment, we are not accepting customer/client labor. The shop serves as our working office, shipping & receiving, and, most importantly, content production studio.

Retired 40-year LAPD Veteran Mark dropped up his 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor to us with a bed full of Full-Race Motorsport Turbo Kit parts, including Garrett Motion Stage 2 Turbos, FMIC, Radiator, and many other supporting mods. Mark requested that we go through the entire truck, and we did just that. The tuning was by Ryan from Engineered Motorsport Solutions, with the final numbers being 570 WHP and 540 WTQ on 91 octanes.

One of our longest-standing partners and sponsors, JIMGLO’s Trailers, has committed a new 2024 JIMGLO Elite Trailer for our transportation needs. They manufacture the best USA-made Tilt-Bed and Enclosed Trailers to get you up to speed with JIMGLO Trailers. These trailers are necessary if you have a low car or exotic with butterfly doors. I plan on using this trailer to transport our cars to events and promote our company using the escape door.

Our BNR 600 Turbocharger project is progressing greatly on our 2016 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. The turbo is in and making some incredible spool noises from the BNR’s billet compressor wheel. We’ve partnered with Xtreme DI once again to deliver the maximum amount of corn fuel for our thirsty BNR Turbocharger. Their HPFP 60 Pump will fuel a set of XDI 2000cc Direct Injectors. What does this all mean? Maximum power output on the dyno and race track. Stay tuned for our full install video.

The Mustang groups are asking for it; we’re here to provide it. Keep tabs on our Function Factory Performance Carbon Fiber Program for the 2024 Ford Mustang S650. Dark Horse parts will be interchangeable with GT and EcoBoost models, including PP and non-PP cars—a special thank you to Jill for letting us borrow her Mustang multiple times. We will be equipping her Mustang with our entire suite of Carbon Part parts and accessories once molding, production, packing, and quality control are complete.

I hope we can secure a spot at the Modded Kulture Tempe Beach Concours. If all goes well, we’ll have multiple Mustangs and McLarens on display, compete for the fastest lap time in our FFP driving simulator, and debut our 2024 JIMGLO Trailers Elite.
