The Touring Edition Cat-Back delivers the refined side of the AWE Golf R exhaust lineup —
all the performance, none of the compromise. AWE 180 Technology® is built into the
Touring, making it the quietest, most drone-free Golf R exhaust AWE has ever produced while
still delivering a premium exhaust note that defines the car’s character.
The slip-fit inlet adapter fits perfectly to the factory downpipe while leaving an open 3″
connection for future performance downpipe upgrades. Individually adjustable tip outlets
allow perfect fitment within the factory bumper cutouts.
AWE’s patented drone-canceling technology uses precision-ported reflection chambers that generate
180-degree out-of-phase sound waves to neutralize problematic resonance frequencies — without
restricting flow or reducing performance. The result is a clean, aggressive exhaust note with
zero interior drone at cruising speeds.
